Dan has over 20 years’ experience in brand planning and strategy.
Initially trained as a lawyer, he moved first into advertising as a Planner, rising into Management, then into running an agency in Scandinavia, before joining bluemarlin in 2017.
He has conducted extensive Qualitative Research and Brand Strategy workshops across the USA. Dan is obsessed with audience insight and is in constant search for “revelations over observations”.
He has worked with scores of global brands across FMCG and Corporate and has a particular passion for brand articulation and repositioning, innovation and brand “storytelling”.
Dan has helped build the agency’s strategic relationship with Colgate, Carlsberg, Simonds Farsons Cisk, Isigny St Mere (in France and USA), and a number of clients in the UK such as Thatchers Cider and Rowse Honey.
Dan is a die-hard Aston Villa fan, and Wes Anderson aficionado. It’s an enigmatic combination.
