Dr. Martins' Coco

Dr. Antonio Martins built a brand around his expertise in coconut biology and the sustainable production of his 100% organic, preservative-free Coco juice, milk and cream. Tapped straight from the source via a patented process, Dr. Martins’ coconut water never comes into contact with light or air. Effectively, the liquid is fooled into believing it’s still in the coconut.

Though the product was groundbreaking, consumers were struggling to understand it. With coconut water’s popularity soaring, Dr. Martins’ Coco needed a premium identity that showcased the unique purity of the product and helped it stand out amongst its increasing number of competitors.

High-definition photography of organic green coconuts splashing into water emphasises the purity of Dr. Martins’ products while elegantly illustrating how nature simply can’t be improved upon. The design gained a nomination at the Design Week Awards and went one better at the Beverage Innovation Awards, where it was a winner.
