Bluemarlin has been named a GDUSA Packaging Award Winner for their work on Goodlife cat food.
Since 1963, Graphic Design USA has been the news magazine for graphic designers and other creative professionals. The goal of GDUSA’s competitions is to focus attention on areas of growth and opportunity for graphic design professionals, to recognize the best work being done in those arenas, and to emphasize the value that graphic design brings to business and society.
The American Package Design Awards is the fastest growing of these programs. This annual competition celebrates well-designed graphics, of course, but more importantly the power of design to advance the brand promise and to forge an emotional link with the buyer at the moment of truth.
Living the Goodlife
The transformative new design of Goodlife focuses on taste appeal conveyed by photography of delicious ingredients on a wooden chopping board. A tiger-striped cat licking its lips in anticipation adds warmth and character, making the pack more approachable while icons clearly communicate the products many benefits.
Goodlife will appear in American Package Design Awards Annual to be released in April 2015 in print and online in the winners gallery on the GDUSA website.
