Ruth has been with Blue Marlin since January 2009. As communications director she is responsible for creating and executing our media relations strategy, arranging speaking opportunities, commissioning proprietary research and sharing the interesting things we unearth with the outside world.
A magazine and national newspaper journalist for over 20 years, she was features editor of Marketing magazine, editor of Brand Strategy, news editor of Design Week, features editor of Sunday Business and a regular contributor to the Sunday Telegraph, the Independent on Sunday and the Evening Standard. She has also provided strategic consultancy and copywriting for a wide range of design, advertising and direct marketing agencies, such as Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Landor Associates and Coley Porter Bell.
Ruth’s greatest joy is having fun with her two little boys. She is passionate about words and proud to be a grammar freak.
